Tanya Trevaskis |
Coordinator-Tanya Trevaskis, an at home mother who became involved with her community through the Auxiliary, Community Association and Fire Department approximately 11 years ago.
Tanya along with other community members opened a relief center for the Deerhorn Valley area of Jamul, just after the Oct 2007 Wildfires. |

During assessments facilitated by the San Diego Foundation and conducted by the Community Recovery Team Tanya was selected to be a team leader. Tanya continues to remain involved in the Long Term Recovery of Deerhorn Valley and the entire Harris Fire region. Tanya along with her Team member Brenda dedicates her time to running the Harris Fire Community Recovery Center. A member of her local church, she was on the praise team and helped with Children’s Ministry. Tanya is hard working and places others needs before her own. |

| Coordinator-Brenda Wise has been a leader in her community for more than 18 years.
She assists her community of Potrero with Disaster Preparedness through her work and membership on the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Fire Safe Council, and Potrero Back Country Help. Brenda was instrumental in opening and running a relief center in Potrero right after the October 2007 Wildfires. |
